Vinegar Weed & Grass Killer is a contact herbicide that contains an organic acid, which means the residues degrade promptly in the soil. The foliar contact with the product results in rapid desiccation and control of annual weeds and grasses. This product can be applied up to two days before harvest, making it a great alternative to herbicides that contain glyphosate.

For best results, weeds should be young and actively growing. Mature, dormant, or hardened weeds due to moisture stress are more tolerant of herbicide treatments. It is important to spray when there is no rain for 8 hours to prevent chemical runoff and when temperatures are between 50 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit. The product should not be diluted, as this will reduce its effectiveness.

Avoid spraying landscape plants, ornamentals, and other desirable foliage, as this product can cause severe injury to these plants. Only the contacted vegetation will be affected, and overspray or drift will injure or kill the contacted vegetation, including crop plants.

The recommended dosage for Vinegar Weed & Grass Killer is 44 to 88 ounces (1.375 to 2.75 quarts) per 1000 square feet. One gallon of the product will treat approximately 1450 to 2900 square feet, while one quart will treat approximately 360 to 720 square feet.
